ABOUT THE WEEK.
This week my time was divided between the coursework and continued work on the project.  I am confused as to how to submit some of the coursework given the fact that the project was granted an extension and is not complete.  Do I submit the coursework as if the project is completed?  Or do I wait until the final project is done?

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Still unit testing on Sprint 2 and hoping to be in refractor and integration in the next day>

ABOUT THE WEEK.
This week was better than the last two, as I was able to get more time on the actual project..

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Sprint 2 release planning has been completed.  Since there were several items from sprint 1, the design updates were less than originally anticipated. However, this will mean more work for sprint 3 and the addition of a sprint 4.

ABOUT THE WEEK.
This week was super busy with the ILP updates, and other coursework.   This left very little time for the project development.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Several issues were encountered in the user acceptance testing from the first sprint which had to be added to the second sprint (as they were high priority items). This has resulted in a postponement for some user stories that were originally anticipated for sprint 2

ABOUT THE WEEK.
This week was spent trying to catch-up on the coursework, as I ran into some stumbling blocks.  I very close to catching up but I had to take time away from the project.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Since I am a single person team, every moment spent doing other work that is not related to the project is a moment that there is a slip in the schedule.  The schedule has now slipped (according to the burn down rate).  I am considering all my alternatives to bring it back on target.

ABOUT THE WEEK.
This week was very busy and very rough.  I had issues with using Weebly.com, but it turned out to be my antivirus and firewall software (BitDefender).  I finally got my ILP Portfolio up and formatted.  Even though it is drag-and-drop, it still required a bit of planning, formatting and testing.

ABOUT THE WEEK.
This week was very busy, but unfortunately it was not very productive for the project.  Several classwork items were due and several issues were encountered.    While I had fun making the commercial for the product, it took some time away from the actual work.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Most of the back-end stuff has been completed (as it was part of Sprint 1) and a temporary page is up and running (see http://www.MyCommercialAD.com ).  I am working towards the Sprint 1 User Acceptance testing with some volunteers.

ABOUT THE WEEK.

This week was fast paced and full of starts and stops.  There were a few little “got you”s with AWS.  We are in the process of doing a SharePoint conversion at work so some of my nights are spent converting old sites to the new SharePoint environment….

Sleep is definitely overrated…  Okay, maybe not.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

As mentioned earlier, there were a few little “got you”s with AWS but I managed to get both of my environments (development and User Acceptance) up and running.  Also, there were some issues with converting user stories into development tasks, but this was due more to my wandering off into non-scope areas.
.
I am currently into the first sprint and making progress.  Since the eXtreme Programming (XP) agile model is based on paired programming in the development stage, I have to make some adjustments in the burn down rate.

ABOUT THE WEEK.

This week was the start of the CAPSTONE course, which is the culmination of all my learning in the CST program at CSUMB.  I am excited but I am also a little anxious.  I am excited as this seems like it can be a fun project. But I am anxious as I am the only person on the project and there seems like this could be very similar to the Service Learning course where there was a lot of classwork, in addition to the service learning work. I must try to stay focus and remember the quote from Anais Nin
“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.”

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project is progressing as this week I was able to review several hosting options and made a decision to use Amazon Web Services (AWS).  In my CST370 course, we used AWS and I was able to see some of the many benefits that it provided.

I am starting to get organized with the project by setting up a PPM tool (Wrike) and updating my MS Project Schedule with more detailed information.  Additionally, I created a MS Word template to use for status reporting.  I will be improving the template over the next few days to provide better project reporting.
